Walk with Me - Audubon Portland

Well when you walk with a grandson you stop
to see the raven, you swing from a branch,
and you walk on rocks in the creek bed.
Oh and we saw a beautiful owl in the bird hospital.

He told me he wore these clothes as they would camouflage him.
He was hoping to find a salamander or two,
but all he found were water skippers.

But mostly you follow the trail.
There was the Jay Trail, the Woodpecker Trail,
the Creek Trail.
We followed each one and explored with
our binoculars and camera around our necks.
Walking with an almost 5 year old is a different
way to travel.

Keep on walking, dear friends!

Your grand son has really grown, lucky boy to have grandma take him to the Audubon

Walking with a child helps us stop and enjoy the sights along the way. Looks like a fun time with your 5-year-old grandson.

Marilyn, your grandson is precious. Boys love to explore and imagine. He looks like he's having the best time. These pictures are priceless.

Oh Marilyn, when did he get so tall! He looks very grown up, and cute as a bug (but no salamander!). Wonderful times together. So glad you are close enough to do this!
